Way, Way Out There
Introduction
Earth's solar system has finally become a tourist attraction. Your job is to create a brochure or flyer advertising what is in our system.
Discovering Facts about Our System
1. You will need to research 2 planets and answer the following questions. Your Planet's:
Name
Average Distance from the Sun
Diameter
Mass
Temperature
Gravity (Is it more or less than Earth's)
Moons (how many? Names? special features?)
Describe its layers
Color
Other Interesting Facts?
2. Provide information on about the Kuiper Belt and, also, choose one of the following items to research:
Meteors
Astroids
Comets
3. Exoplanets. Scientists study exoplanets in hopes of finding life on other planets. Provide the following inforamtion about an exoplanet.
What is Astrobiology?
What is the name or number of your exoplanet?
Mass
Orbit of the planet (does it orbit close or far from its star? Is the orbit cicular or elliptical?
What type of star does it orbit? (Is it like our sun)
